June 2nd, 2008. As many of you know, Bo Diddley anointed me with the name Goopking. Bo Diddley was a great innovator and I am truly sad to see him go. Rock on Bo!

Since it has been almost a year since I updated this thing, maybe it is time to do so.
First; I have finally retired from touring the country in a band and have settled into my behind the scene writing role. Touring with Christy Clayton all of 2007 was a blast and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for the oportunity as we accomplished so much from "The Best of Las Vegas 2007" to playing a bazillion cool live shows and radio stations from Las Vegas to Luckenbach and Tulsa to Toledo what a great time.
Second: Susan and I are back to SoCal in July. Vegas has been real but, outside of Texas, SoCal is my home.
Stay tuned and let's see what trouble I can find myself in.
