My orbit is significantly elliptical. A result of this is a temperature variation of about 30 C at the subsolar point between aphelion and perihelion. This has a major influence on my climate. While the average temperature on me is about -55 C, my surface temperatures range widely from as little as -133 C at the winter pole to almost 27 C on the day side during summer.I have the highest mountain in the Solar System (have some of that Everest!). My Southern Hemisphere is very similar looking to your Moon. Unlike your Earth, I have TWO (count 'em) satellites. They are called Phobos and Deimos.Please stop landing those 'NASA' ships on me, they are damaging me.
