About Me

Inimenter went through many changes as it grew up. They ran through quite a combination of sounds before they finally found their territory. Originally a band of more metal design, Inimenter was an exercise in extreme volume until the departure of the truly insane yet inspirational drummer Ricardo Adcock. This gave Neak, Paul, Antony and Rob the chance to pull in many of the different influences that had been bashing at the door of their collective mind. What followed was a set of songs that had the drive and crunch of a heavy rock band along with the left of centre melodic approach of the alternative scene. The demoed material earned a 10/10 review in metal hammer, was mentioned as a most listened to this week in Kerrang! and caught the ear of Londons hugest underground Fanzine, ORGAN.
ORG records featured them on several of their Organ Radio compilation releases gaining them favourable mentions in rock press reviews before releasing a single on their ORGAN-ISED Singles Series a split single with (bizarrely) members of Napalm Death in an alternative/indie side project called Little Giant Drug. This was mentioned as Breaker of the week in Kerrang!, given 3 out of 5 by reviewers Blink182 and was even given a favourable review by the NME! These releases and the shows that they played to support them gained them solid respect from some well-established fellow musicians. Fans included Jim Davies from Pitchshifter, Kieron Pepper from The Prodigy, Glenn Diani and Ed Stratton from OneMinuteSilence, Ish from Liberty37, Pulkas, Breed77, Miocene and more
They released the much awaited mini-album as a free download through their website, as a gift to those fans who had been patiently awaiting its release in the shops. They enjoyed a great response from its release, with people downloading and spreading the word worldwide. There were honourable mentions on the metal-is news-pages and RockSound magazine featured them as a Band to Watch in 2001. Inimenter hit the airwaves in 2001 (a little!) Claire Sturgess unsigned (xfm), Ian Camfields rock show (xfm) and regular airplay with urchin and robin (totalrock) who also asked them onto their show to do what was their first ever radio interview. Gigs were going well and new management had appeared, giving them a clearer path to follow.
Rob Howard left inimenter and joined HaloMobilo for a while. The band decided to keep it a 4 piece.
And so they've managed to cook up a monster Entirely self-produced and recorded a mini album, The Dare is representative of everything the band has become through both knocks and accomplishments.
In 2004, the Band had a massive punch up and split, just kidding. They just decided they needed to move on and started/joined other projects.
So, What are the band doing now...

Neak

...is a Professional Producer and engineer, both live and in the studio, he has a very impressive list of bands on his resume he has worked with. He has his own studio called Old School Studio, which is in South Wales.
A fantastic live-in studio on the fringe on the Brecon Beacons just north of Swansea. The great thing about it is you can basically live there while you record, just relax and focus on the project, a must for and band of any level, check out his Myspace page for more info.

Paul

...has been very busy, He helped start Romeo Must Die with ex-Stampin' Ground Ben Frost and Adam Frakes-sime and it is brutal as hell.
He is also a guitarist in the mighty metal machine that is This Is Menace, which is a band formed by Jason Bowld and Mark Clayden (both Pitchshifter) He helped write the second Album which is in the shops now and they also have a great live DVD filmed at the LA2. The band has a different Legend Metal singer on each track, these include:
Colin Doran (Hundred Reasons),
Matt Davies (Funeral for a Friend),
B'Hellmouth, (Send More Paramedics),
Justin Hill (Sikth),
Paul McCallion (Hiding Place),
Jeff Walker (Carcass),
Andy Cairns (Therapy?),
Karl Middleton (Earthtone9),
Mikee Goodman (Sikth),
Martin Ives (Charger),
Paul Cat (Murder One),
Charlie Simpson (Fightstar),
Jazz Coleman (Killing Joke),
JS Clayden (Pitchshifter),
Tom Lacey (The Ghost of a Thousand),
Barney (Napalm Death),
Menace played a packed out gig and the Download Festival '06 and as the line up is so big gigs are rare but when they do go on they are amazing.
Paul also toured with Stampin' Ground in 2005/06 as their guitarist was unavailable. He played with Victory Pill which is Jim Davies (ex-Pitchshifter, Prodigy) New band, helping them record their album toured
In the middle of all that he played and recorded with Sixty mile smile.
