independently enlightened, self certified................................................... .......................................................... my friends, i am not using myspace for messaging much anymore, so if you want to communicate, send me a message asking for my email address and i will give it to you......................................................... ............................................................ ................................................... ......................................................... i was thinking, although a few of us desire freedom and liberty, the vast majority of the human herd would prefer to be shepherded by large governments, and there are plenty of "leaders" who would love to fill that need. so the people give their power to the leaders and the type of liberty that requires risk and personal responsibilty is traded for the type that pets and children enjoy at the discretion of their keepers. in other words, i know your socialists will win. they are too popular. its the result of a natural desire to control in some and a natural desire to be guided in the masses. those voices in the wilderness calling for liberty might as well be wild animals or natives for that matter. gone and going the way of the buffalo. my boy robert frost said that freedom is being 'easy in the harness.' its not the idealistic definition i'd like, but it's probably the most realistic. as long as your new world order maintains a comfortable degree of liberty, i will have to deal with it. i won't hail obama as the messiah, or any other government/representative for that matter. but i accept the inevitablity of your global socialist order. i will hold my peace until you start trying to harvest my organs. but mind you that we live in a universe that you cannot govern no matter how popular the sentiment. scarcity of resources, disease, natural disaster, and general chaos may still preserve some semblence of natural balance. it brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. god bless you all.
