About Me

My personality has many facets. Common stereotypes don't apply to me and I prefer it that way. People who think they have me figured out after one glance are always wrong.I'm going to be an RN and I love body art. If your life is ever in my hands, don't panic. My tattoo and piercings won't prevent me from saving your life. Does that seem like a contradiction? Here are some more...I'm open-minded and stubborn. I'm compassionate and sarcastic. I'm diplomatic and I have a razor-sharp tongue. I'm insightful and naive. I'm a neat-freak and a slob. I'm blonde and I'm smart. :-PI'm an optimist and a pessimist. I'm patient and I have a fierce temper. (God help anyone who actually reaches the end of my fuse.) I'm a free-spirit and a freak, but I excel in professional settings. I'm deeply spiritual but I avoid organized religion. I'm a social butterfly and a hermit. I'm a perfectionist and far from perfect.I have been blessed with a diverse group of friends that are very important to me. They light my way when my candle burns out and I'm very grateful to have them in my life.Once I let someone into my heart, they will always be there. I have walked, and will continue to walk, through fires with and for the people I love. People, circumstances and the nature of relationships can change, but I believe those challenges can be overcome. I don't give up on anyone without a fight. I'm a forever friend.

My Interests

I have a curious mind. Almost everything interests me. I love books, music, movies, poetry, philosophy, biology, psychology...I could go on forever.

Movies:

I'm not a fan of horror movies, but I like almost everything else. I'll watch anything with Reese Witherspoon in it. She's incredible.

Television:

Who has time for tv? When I do have time, I like Friends, Roseanne, The Discovery Channel, and anything about the paranormal.

Books:

My favorite authors are Terry Goodkind and Diana Gabaldon, but I love books in general. I haven't found too many I didn't want to read.

"Lost In The Forest" by Sue Miller is the last book I read. I was surprised by how insightful and absorbing it was.

Heroes:
