Milkshake Jones

Bringing The Pop Since 2002.

About Me

Remember AM Radio?
Milkshake Jones does. Since their formation in late 2002, this Harrisburg, Pa.-based four-piece has blended the best of contemporary power-pop, 60s vintage BritPop and alt.country to forge a sound that is uniquely their own.
It's a sound that's earned them comparisons to such college rock stalwarts as The Replacements, Squeeze and The Connells, just to name a few.
The combo, anchored by singer/songwriter John Micek , bassist Marni Micek, and drummer Dan Almoney, has grown into a constant presence on stages across Pennsylvania and the eastern seaboard.
Milkshake Jones have shared stages with such pop luminaries as Tim Lee, The Shazam, The Anderson Council, The Saving Graces, The Parallax Project, The Jellybricks , Case 150, The Trespassengers, Cliff Hillis, and Mitch Easter.
In April 2004, Milkshake Jones released their debut EP on the Portland, Ore.-based Paisley Pop Label to unanimous critical acclaim.
The band is a regular fixture on central Pennsylvania stages and have performed at such noted pop gatherings as Sparklefest and The International Pop Overthrow Festival .
The band released its second long-player, Gala Days, on Sept. 21, 2007 to warm reviews.
Look for Milkshake Jones on a stage near you soon.
