MIDI BATTLE JAZZ: On 27 June 1999, two General Midi saxophone players staged an open battle amidst sixteen computers and keyboards in a workstation laboratory. This all took place inside of the Korg X5D music workstation via an Apple computer. Shortly after seven minutes, the baritone saxophonist (badge #68) won this battle, as you will hear at the very end of the battle... The audience cheered to an unbearable level of volume, giving him a standing ovation. As for the tenor saxophone player (badge #67), he now has to resort to playing avant smooth jazz for the rest of his career. Ask David Copperfield about the next battle to take place at Zebulon Cafe Concert, from where the trombone trio was banned in late 2003. And...PLEASE DO NOT POST ADS OF GIGS ON THIS PAGE!!!
