About Me

I am Mike Pride. I am a drummer/composer/bandleader/anything else I feel like at any particular time. Yes, I AM a dope. I opened a personal rather than music page and I had no luck switching over. I have played with many wonderful people. I am a very blessed individual with a lovely wife. I play in many bands including: Dynamite Club, From Bacteria To Boys, Period, Whoopie Pie (with Jamie Saft & Bill McHenry), Evil Eye, Bunda Love, Aarktica...go to mikepride.com for more info on these and more. I have been featured on more than 50 albums. I have played with a few people you may know including: Boredoms, Anthony Braxton, Nels Cline, Trevor Dunn, Haino Keiji's Fushitsusha, George Lewis, Millions Of Dead Cops, Sonny Simmons, Trey Spruance, Jack Wright, Otomo Yoshihide, John Zorn & many more. I have played with many more people you do not know as much about...BUT IF YOU ARE FORTUNATE, YOU WILL. These are the people I work with most of the time. Come and see us all play.
