About Me

Settled in Silence started playing metal together in November 2005. They released their first CD, Settled in Silence, in May 2006. They started work on a second album in October 2006, and finished it in late March 2007. After post-production and replication were finished, Grey Arms Wave Goodbye was released on April 25, 2007 to an enthusiastic crowd at Northwest College in Powell, WY.
In the year and a half that the band has been together, they have performed numerous live shows in northern Wyoming and southern Montana, sharing the stage with area bands Minerva, Sane Dementia, Methadone, Nemesis I, Calls Them Blind, Olenik, Kirby and the 6-Horned Gnarwhales, Buried in the Sky, Beyond the Light, Serony, Like a Lightswitch, and nationally and internationally known touring acts Midnight to Twelve and the Red Elvises. While the band is not currently doing any live shows because the members are spread out between Seattle, Wyoming, and Nashville, Settled in Silence plans on continuing to write and record more of the energetic and complex instrumental music for which they are becoming more and more well-known.
