The Revolution's Started

About Me

"The Revolution Started" with the birth of what is called Sane Dementia. Sane D is created with Mitch Austin's un-usual bass riffs, and his raspy, metal vocals that will grab the attention of the listener in a heart-beat. His brother, Grant Austin, is always determined to play the drums to his full potential by adding quick, double-bass bursts, and trashing beats that keep the time of Sane D. Steven Nichols, lead guitarist, always adds catchy, heavy riffs and fast, wild solos to the songs of Sane Dementia. To the rhythm of Sane D comes Dustin Hagen. Adding chords & power to the chaotic music, he completes the final issue of this quartet.
Sane Dementia started back in the year 2002 when four metal-loving freaks came together to perform the all time classic "For Whom The Bell Tolls" by Metallica. After performing this one song for friends and family, Sane D started to grow on each other by sharing their interests in music, especially heavy metal music! After agreeing to come back together to jam some more, Sane Dementia wrote their first song entitled "Listen". Each member of the band is very unique in the type of ways that the music is played, but one thing that Sane Dementia will always follow as one, is Heavy Metal! The continued to write their music and finished another song, “Taken”. Finally, after playing multiple cover songs, the band was ready to knuckle down and write something that would grab the audience. “Bleeding Out The Poison” was where Sane Dementia first started getting heard. The song finally started to give them a name around town, as they started to play more & more shows in the area. Sane Dementia then recorded a three song demo with Unwired Recordings out of Gillette, Wyoming. Times passed, shows were played, and songs were written, but it seemed as if Sane D started to fade out, but what the people didn’t know is that they were hard at work creating more music for the fans, and more music for themselves. In the summer of 2006, Sane Dementia put out a full length album with the amazing recording works of Ed Rosier and Acell Studio. The album has old songs have been re-mixed and re-mastered, while the new songs are telling the legacy of what the band stands for.
Sane Dementia, a band that has stood behind their country and its troops since the beginning, a band that has expressed the world threw their eyes in the music that they embrace, a band that will continue to carry-out the sound of a new birth of what is known as metal. As the revolution has started, it will never end, never die, and never be killed out. Sane Dementia is part of that revolution that is known as immortal.
