Asheville CD release on June 19!

About Me

We currently have two CDs for sale. One of our original music ("Broken Things") and one of traditonal Appalchian old time music ("Little Tin of Lard" under the band name Rusty Stringbandits). You can buy "Broken Things" here from CD Baby by clicking on the link below!
Jeff and Benares Angeley write and perform acoustic music that is at once steeped in tradition and exciting and new. Their songs sing the human experience with a distinctly American accent. They can be humorous at times and melancholy at others. They are jubilant in places, touching in others, often profound and sometimes silly. Whether playing their own finely crafted original songs or traditional Appalachian music , they are lively, soulful, and captivating. Their harmonies are hauntingly beautiful and their instrumental performance is well rehearsed and impressive.
Currently touring to support their CD "Broken Things", the duo is intent on bringing their brand of Americana music to audiences up and down the East Coast, as well as Western North Carolina, where they make their home. Jeff and Benares never fail to impress listeners with their tight vocal harmonies, captivating original music, and their grasp of a multitude of instruments. Jeff and Benares write the songs you want to hear, and their performance takes listeners down the long, dusty road that makes us all human.
