Jimmy Peters grew up just south of Boston in Quincy Massachusetts. He began performing in his teen years as lead guitar player in his first band Waterfront. Jimmy was raised on rock and roll but also has explored country, folk, bluegrass, and blues.
Jimmy is a singer-songwriter, solo acoustic performer and also performs as a member of the band Wild Blue Sunday.
He has performed with cover bands in various show settings in Boston, on the south shore, metro west, Providence RI, and Loudon, New Hampshire. Shows included Marina Bay, Boston Harbor cruises, First Night in Quincy, the Brockton Fair, NASCAR NEXTEL CUP race concerts and many night clubs.
Collaborating with friends on music projects, Jimmy occasionally performs with Evan Dennis and blues harp master Johnny Dino Dinatale.
Jimmy started his solo act in 2004. He writes original songs and occasionally performs them along with an extensive list of popular cover tunes. Jimmy writes about events and people that have touched his life in some way.

Jimmy has collaborated on song writing with the poet Kim Charette and many of the songs on Jimmy's first CD (indepedently produced in 2006) were cowritten with Kim.Jimmy's second CD has more of a rock and blues focus. The recording was done at Orange Freeze Records. The CD entitled The Sky's The Limit is now available online and on iTunes.
