Bundles of thanks to Romain for his camera work.
'The craftsmanship that went into Alone In This Dark Romantic Night is astonishing; Beautiful Lunar Landscape sound very much ahead of the times and older than their years. This is the sort of atmospheric and progressive rock music that you can really get lost in, and it works whether you're fully drawn in or just have it on in the background. If these guys don't go on to make a full-length that breaks them into the global spotlight, I'll be shocked'.

'Dès les premières notes, une sensation de relaxation, d’apaisement, de flottement dans les airs s’immisce en nous. Et le timbre vocal, tantôt féminin, tantôt masculin, amplifie la sensation de douceur qui commence à nous inonder'.

'Light shoegazer music at first glance, the music often swells from gently resonating chords to a buzzing ambiance of rich instrumentation with a trippy edge. Beautiful Lunar Landscape create the ideal soundtrack for not only their name but also for the album’s title, with soft twinkling effects that make you feel as though spaceships are zooming around above you'.
PlugInMusic 16 May 2007
'Molded into a form somewhere near My Bloody Valentine, Beautiful Lunar Landscape dot their atmospheric shoegazing indie rock with huge synths and sampled loops with devilishly clever anthems hanging by mere threads'.
Smother 31 March 2007
'Have you ever wanted to hear what Portishead would sound like melded with a shoegazer aesthetic?... It is absolutely, spell-bindingly brilliant... you are left mesmerised by the expansive and wide-reaching nature of the sounds BLL can create... It is a travesty that a band this talented and creative are unsigned because music this good deserves to be propelled skywards and beyond'.
Boring Machines 23 March 2007
'The four songs on the demo are easily as captivating as any My Bloodly Valentine or Slint album, but with a slight twist that reminds me of Sickoakes. BLL create some of the most lush textures with their mixture of bass and guitars, with near-whisper vocals'.
