History:
TheRaw have been together Since 13/09/2004 – not bad for saying they started the band for fun at the age of 13.
TheRaw don’t believe they have an absolute set genre of music, as each of the members all have varying preferences in music, and therefore different inputs to the songs. If you wish to define them a genre, just listen to their music and decide for yourself.
The band was started by Adam (Adz) Slack (guitarist) and Roan Brandt (Bass). Initially Adz was playing bass, and Roan, well; he wasn’t playing anything! They then decided to switch around, leaving Adz on guitar and Roan on drums.
The first band practice was a slight shambles, Adz couldn’t sing, and Roan couldn’t play drums. The duo then decided to enlist the help of drummer Anthony (Natt) Webb.
The now trio therefore enlisted the fourth member, Chaz, to perform vocals. Resulting in what we now know as; TheRaw.
