TRIUMPHANT GOAT COMMAND

About Me

Obviously to start, I'm a big music fan. I play guitar to a fairly acceptable level, as well as bass and keyboards - but I'm not particularly advanced there.
Musical projects include:
Imindain (Funeral/Death Doom, Lead Guitar)
Invocate (Dark, Brutal Death Metal, Guitar/Bass/Programming)
Maniakal Torment (Old School Death Metal, Lead Guitar)
I also "work" with my mate Lee as a gig promoter and reviewer under the name Don't Entry - we put on gigs around Stoke and Crewe, dealing ONLY in extreme metal. If you're in a band - you'd be better off dropping a message or add to the Don't Entry profile rather than my personal one.
I'm very much interested in the production stages of music. I am currently studying a HND in Music Production at Stafford College. I have recorded/mixed/mastered various demos in my "studio" - anyone after any work doing (only looking at the mixing/mastering stages at the moment) drop me a line.
Along with my musical endeavours, when I occasionally have the time I like reading, like I say, I rarely ever get time to though.
I also enjoy a bit of walking when I can get my arse up off this seat, but when I can't I'm pretty fond of playing computer games. I've been lately very much addicted to Rise of Nations, Ages of Empires and such strategy games, although I've recently started to get into RPG's. I used to be a big fan of the old school click n point adventure games, but as I don't pay much attention to the world of computers anymore I haven't played any new ones for years...
I'm also have an interest in photography. I'm not qualified nor have I studied it - I'm just teaching myself as I go. I've been concentrating on natural things, and also snapping some live band shots. So far results have been fairly varied. I don't know if I'll ever get any better at it, but I enjoy trying.

My Interests

First and foremost my love is music (listening and writing/performing), I also enjoy photography, reading, writing, walking

I'd like to meet:

Not very many to tell the truth. I'm very misanthropic by nature, and I have little time for many people. Very few people live up to my standards, but those who do I keep close. I want to achieve things in my life and I have high sights set, I refuse to be bought down by stupid, worthless people whose lives revolve around working dead end jobs and getting pissed and/or stoned at the weekends.
Recently more than ever I have become aware of how utterly worthless some people can be, even the ones you become close to. Be aware that should someone cross me or if I am under the impression that someone is a fake then I will mercilessly cut them out of my life.
So now that we've confirmed that, onwards to the people that I would like to meet. People who share opinions and interests with me I suppose. People with a passion for music, music production, and other arts. People with a morbid sense of humour. Generally other people who are somewhat misanthropic, and stand aside from conventional society. That doesn't include "metalhead" wasters who listen to Metallica and Disturbed. You are not different from anyone else. Don't waste your time or mine.

IF YOU ARE AN INDIE/PUNK/GOTH/INDUSTRIAL/TRENDY GRINDCORE/SHIT BAND I WILL NOT ADD YOU SO DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING

Poseurs, social parasites and other ills of the metal scene

This is a bit of a rant I've been wanting to make for some time now. I'm surprised by myself actually that it's taken me this long to do it. There's a thing that winds me up to the point of nauseatin...

Celtic Frost/Hellhammer > You

Recently I've had a bit of a "retro" (if you like) phase, and it's come to mind that I'm an absolute idiot for not worshipping Celtic Frost and Hellhammer as much as I should. This is what true grimni...
