I generally have a disdain for mass religion, it is religion that has created the political instabilty and violence that the world is now suffering through, so everyone thank the fucking Christians, Jews and Muslims for going to war with one another. Besides, people that disregard Darwin's theory of evolution are cretins.
I've started promoting gigs if only in Burnley in order to try and elevate the metal scene above its current apathy stricken and truly pitiful state, hopefully I can continue what has been a successful beginning into something more substantial.
I also adore the UKDM scene that has finally found it's legs and gone from strength to strength. There are a growing number of poor identikit metalcore bands masquerading as death metal and contaminating the DM scene as result, thankfully there are enough REAL bands whose focus it is to push themselves musically rather than aesthetically to push the UK underground into a more prominant position. When bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Devour Thy Sins and their ilk fail feebly and their bandwagon hopping fashion orientated fanbase desert them maybe they will see how misguided their direction really was. I love music and I feel that it shouldn't be bastardised in such a manner.
If you've read all the way you have probably realised that I'm sometimes a complete pain in the arse, in person I am laidback and generally friendly if you are in return! More often than not its down to a healthy combination of alcohol and cannibis!
