About Me

Joe A. Scerri's first involvement with making music was playing the xylophone at school when he was 6 years old in London. After a move to Australia he became interested in underground music at an early age and become fond of the British post-punk music scene from 1980 onwards. Between 1985-1990, Joe Dj-ed in clubs, parties and radio and began making his own home made sounds via a casio keyboard, drum machine, a blown amplifier, guitar, bass, and childrens wind-up toys. After he studied Graphic Design and moved to Sydney in 1990 he started writing electronic music under the name Lake Lustre which surfaced in 2000. He has since relocated to Switzerland were he wrote and put the finishing touches to his first album, INDECIPHERABILIA which was released on Abflug Records in 2004. Lake Lustre has since performed in Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Austria, United Kingdom Argentina and Australia. Graphic design can be spotted at www.joescerridesign.com
