From the time he heard it as a small child, DJ Steve Walker knew music was, and always would be his life’s passion. At the time, he would find himself deeply enveloped in the rhythms and melodies of television show theme music or the visceral joy of banging on his mother’s pots and pans, Walker’s relationship with music has always been one intimately close to his heart. Born in Sacramento California, he was raised and schooled in beautiful Greece, now currently residing and living life to the fullest in fabulous LAS VEGAS...
Meet DJ Steve Walker. After receiving his first drum set at the young age of 7, he dedicated himself, and quickly evolved into an advanced jazz drummer placing him at the head of his class by the age of 9. Walker Started his DJ career in the relaxed Mediterranean beauty of Greece, where he performed and brought his unique style to enthusiastic, music loving crowds. By the age of 16, Walker earned, through showmanship and professionalism, residencies throughout Greece and New York City, in Top Clubs such as Mint, Lava Lounge, Le Souk in.
In his performance, DJ Steve Walker brings a mix of three skills, artistry through expression, composition through originality, and drumming with the art of rhythmic percussion. He uses all these together while DJing to create for you, a unique soul moving experience; live music with mixed songs playing together. The performances he shares with you are nothing short of mesmerizing, and keeps audiences coming back for more. Walker has enjoyed performances in diverse venues around the world and now, is currently working on the production and management of large scale events and entertainment projects in Asia, the Pacific Rim, Europe and the United States. Most notably, Walker gained residencies at Underbar, Caprice in Boston, MA as well as Roe/ Privé and Bubble Lounge in San Francisco, CA. Where club goers line up for hours just to hear his beats, mixes and fiery drum solos.
Walker also works on the production side of things. Owning his own record label, Five A.M. Deep Records with a team of talented and hard working musically inclined people working under him. Walker has just recently signed 7 of Las Vegas' Supreme DJ's to work under Five A.m. Deep Records. Walker plans for big things to happen in the near future with his Label and DJ career.
Five A.M. Deep Records has recording and mixing studios and personnel in Northern California, Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Record Label, his company scouts for new talent and performers, develops, help to define their sound and produce a lead single to market and promote the artist in the marketplace. Other Projects range from Audio post for video, television and film, sound design, remix and single production as well as commercial radio production and sound and music creation and mixing for live performance concepts.
