Ysidro Aguirre Ortiz Ysidro Aguirre Ortiz January 16, 1924 - January 10, 2007 Passed away peacefully on January 10, 2007 at the age of 82 years old with his family by his side. Ysidro Aguirre Ortiz was born in Whittier, California and raised in Gualterio, Zacatecas. He met his wife Luz Andrade Ortiz in 1945 and married in Chalchihuitez, Zacatecas in 1946, they were happily married for over 60 years. From this union was born Petra Ortiz, Antonio Ortiz, Luz M. Ortiz, Jose A. Ortiz, Maria C. Ortiz, Pedro Ortiz, Leticia Ortiz, Olga O. Gomez, and Sabina Deleon Ortiz. Proud grandfather of Elias, Isabel, Christina, Adrian, Xavier, Sariah, Daisy, LCPL John Jr., Julian, Sergio, and Lorena. Great-grandfather of Sergio, Alyssa, Christopher and Ariana. he also leaves behind his beloved sisters Angelina Morales, Lucy Lugo and many nephews, nieces and friends. Ysidro lived in Oakland, California for over 45 years and worked as a Longshoreman at the Port of Oakland and the Port of San Francisco for over 10 years. he retired in 1973. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and reading his Bible daily. He also enjoyed watching Spanish classic movies, wrestling, gardening, listening to Spanish Christian radio and walks with his Chihuahua dog Chulito. he was a member of the Primera Iglesia Bautista in Oakland, CA. for over 35 years until his health failed him. His family would have celebrated his 83rd birthday on Tuesday January 16th but the Lord took him away sooner. His memory is cherished and will be deeply missed by ALL.
