About Me

"You should not neglect a greater purpose for the sake of a smaller one." -The Dalai Lama

Absolutely, I am in love with life. Meaningful existence is concieved by thoughts residing far beyond the surface animation of the heart. I live in a state of continuous evolution. I inhale, I exhale and I am changed every time. I am free, independent, creative, low key, love to laugh... Music, art, romance and all things that stir the soul are what I'm most interested in. There is a soft spot in my heart for nature and animals & I have two lovely cats that I find facinating. I practice Mindfulness and believe in the power of Now, which has changed my life. I make an effort to maintain a sense of reality about my life and not to waste time on the meaningless. I greatly dislike vanity, pettiness, and defensiveness. Pretension leaves a nasty scar on a personality. Materialism is also rotten. There are many things I don't have the benefit of but many things that I do. You take the cards you are dealt and make the best of it. The amazing thing is that this is not as good as it gets and I'm still here.
..

My Interests

Passion, laughter, creativity, universe, history, truth, acceptance, forgiveness, death, life, love, romance, power, submission, firelight, nature, geology, winter, animals, road trips, trees, the sky, stars, rain storms, incense, vegetarian, music, reading, peace, love, peace, love, peace, love, peace...

I'd like to meet:

Possibly no one. Probably every one. I'm content to just see what happens.

It occurred to me&

One of the phenomenal things about life, I believe, is how it often takes care of itself. Frequently, if I am still for long enough, the hard questions are answered for me. I can take no action and ju...

Heart Burns Folly

I'm both suspiciously hopeful and prematurely disappointed. How seemingly strange. To experience the beauty in you, if bright enough, reanimates a certain unnamable struggle in me. I know I am reactin...

Defying Elucidation

Life has been odd for me lately. I've been living in a surreal little bubble. There is a lot of change going on but I'm trying to embrace it and accept it all as part of some greater plan. I have run ...

"Just a scoop of creamed potatoes. A slice of butter. Four peas..."

I woke up to a severely aching body. My rib has been getting worse. It's so far out of place that slight pressure over it causes pain now. Most days I can mentally overcome the pain, but it is the dam...

The way many folks lead their lives is perplexing, at least that's how it seems when filtered through my mind. I observe people everywhere living their life like zombies,...
