History of The Cold ExistenceIn the summer of 1998 Jan Sallander founded a band named “Coldâ€. Jan brought along a bass player from his old band and found a drummer who lived in Stenungsund, where they rehearsed. But Jan felt that three members were not enough to create the music he wanted. They needed a second guitarist.
At the end of December in 1999 Jan Hellenberg joined the band and they changed their name to “The Cold Existenceâ€.
When the year 2000 was coming to and end, the drummer and bass player quit the band which led to a search for new members. Drummer Björn Eriksson and bass player Patric Syk joined soon after, and thus the band had a solid crew. Around this time The Cold Existence moved to a decent rehearsalroom in Gothenburg.
The band wrote 15 songs in the year 2001, recorded a couple of demos for lign=center
