Biden is the only person in Washington I've heard mention Darfur, much less put forth a specific plan of action. I like this guy. I haven't heard him say one thing that wasn't straightforward and didn't wholly make sense. He's actually not in the running anymore for President. He's still a politically METAAAAAALL(!!!) Senator.

See, I used to think that Bush was conservative, and therefor conservatism was bad. Only later did I learn that Bush hasn't done a single truly conservative thing while in office. Traditional, aka real, Conservatism freaking rocks.
Not this idea of a constipated, staunchy old man that's afraid of change; no; but rather, sticking to the principals of the Constitution and the founding fathers. I consider myself a Radical Moderate with a Libertarian leaning. Gotta stick to your guns, but sometimes new situations call for new weaponry, so I'm willing to listen to any solution to a problem.
Anyway, my point! What had masqueraded as Conservative under G.W. Bush was actually neo-conservatism which is little more than corrupt liberalism with heaping dash of Corporatism.
What we need right now is someone who will undo these knots of centralized power and restore the Principles of the Constitution and Bill of Rights to the rule of law.
After that, having wiped the slate clean of corruption, maybe we can talk about something new.
For now, alot of really scary new stuff like the (Un)Federal Reserve, Patriot Act, Victory Act, Military Commisions Act, etc. need to be taken down and stomped.
So let's get back to our roots.

Powermetal R0x0rZ!
No, seriously, it's pretty amazing. Some say things like "cheesy" about power metal. To embue added meaning to a powermetal song, one might make a personal metaphor of a certain word in a lyric. "dragon" in Chasing the Dragon by Dream Evil could be a corrupt government, an evil in one's personal life, ect. Through this these otherwise fantasy based songs can become allegorical of our own lives.
If you walk into a bar in a place like Finland, and walk over to the jukebox, you'll notice all maner of big names in metal and powermetal, such as Nightwish, Manowar, Sinergy, etc. It is only here in the pop-rotted United States of America and other places that have been totally Americanized musically that one doesn't hear these legendary names and sounds but on the whisper of the wind.
Does melodic metal translate
to melodic misery??
Then TURN IT OFF! Happens all the time in art class.

I'm not as much into the whole "medieval" powermetal thing. So the heavilly blind-fantasy based areas of Luca Turilli, Rhapsody and Blind Guardian are lower on my list of awesome. But they all put out excellent material, and really I'm still discovering Blind Guardian. But that's where I stand on that. I tend to stray more to the philosophical, psychological, political, and/or metaphorical themes.

There's some good pop/rock as well. That "I'm Like A Bird" song for example, I always liked that one.
Video game remixes are a favorite of mine as well, and until this past summer it was nearly exclusively what I listened to. Not there was anything inherently wrong with that, but VG Remixes are such a small part of the bigger musical picture.

Megaman, or Rockman as it was originally conceived in Japan, holds it's origin in the expression "Rock & Roll". The original character sketches featured just two characters, Rock {who became Rockman, whom we know as Megaman} & Roll {who played a minor role in the MM and MMBN Megaman sub-series}. Mega/Rockman music really is nothing more than techno-rock. As such, it 'rocks' {no pun intended}.
Now this begs the question: where does one get some techno rock(man) music?

There are no more heroes among man.

Do you think this shiny golden age we live in will last forever? The one where most of the world's material goods are continually pumped into the guts of a few "nations" while the rest of the world is manipulated by these countries? Not if the outrageous spending our US Government isn't ringed in +2 and then some. If We continue to spend money this country doesn't have and won't have the means to pay anytime soon, eventually the countries continually lending Us the money to keep this country supported will realize they aren't back their money. This is what has happened to Mexico on the international scene; countries lent and lent, Mexico spent and spent and Mexico's problems still remained and the lenders never got there money back; now countries are not so eager to lend money to Mexico. We've heard that Mexico is a wild, dangerous place outside of certain areas of the country? Do we want to be the next Mexico? When this happens most everything in America halt. The Economy. The government's ability to do most anything beneficial to the People. Gone, unless they jack UP taxes and SLASH benefits in most categories. The working population will NOT be happy with this, not one little bit. Do who this working population is? It is US!
