In 1998, Big C began dabbling in his music career while attending Antioch High School. There he met now Nashville artists Brabo and Jellyroll. During his study about the production side of music, his home life seemed to be conflicting too much to excel. So in 2000, after several group placements and rehab, he began to get serious. In 2001 he met Baby J, a local artist from Nashville. J was part of a clique that called themselves "Buck 50"...J stated that if he ever had a label, he wanted the title to involve the name "Buck 50".. So the two decided to co-own the label "Buck 50 Records". Big C then met Brian Freeman, a Nashville artist from Memphis. Then J introduced the two to Goldy, the brother of his childhood friend. The four called themselves the group "Buck 50". Two years later, C meets White Mike and a local raper named Rehab. Rehab then was part of a local label now known as G.L.U.W Ent. Re and Brian both began working on their solo's while also recording group tracks with Buck 50. They both received jail time, and upon their release, the group began recording the "Buckle Up" mixtape at "Street Flavor Records." Then after Goldy's incarceration, the group recorded "The Free Goldy Mixtape". A year later they decided to call themselves "The Buck 50 Family" and recorded the 75 track double disk mixtape "Strap Up", which seemed to get them a great deal of positive response in many cities. In 2007, the group decided to move on. Now Big C is under Foster Care, and is part of "A.T.M." He has a production company.. "O.T.C. Productions" and is CEO of KikFlip Ent. Big C claims not to be a rapper, only a producer. He may record a solo album as a fun hobby. He has worked with such artists as Playa Fly, Skinny Pimp, Jody Stevens, G.I.U, Certified Hustlaz, (free) Flexchmode, MajorWeight, T Roni, Big Tight, Magik, Kool Daddy Fresh, Dontae Jones, Bud, Stew Baby, A.O.N, (free)J Wood, Full Clip Ent, Mechanics and many more.The first pressed release. The group consists of Rehab, Charlie P, J6, Baby J, Big C, Mussels, WhiteBoy, Teezy, D Choppa and L.A. The album starts off banging with "Why Would'nt I" a DJ Dev produced anthem that encourages everybody to get money, ride on 30's and floss out. Kool Daddy Fresh contributes his style on track 3 and 5. There's a lot of hustler lyrics, but track 10, "Where The Hoes At" is for the freaks. Each member has a distinct style, and shows out on the songs they're featured on. the disc has a good flow to it. It throws in some comedy with an anti-commercial that calls out a rim shop in Madison, saying they are snitches and questions their craftsmanship. These guys put together one hell of a posse album.
