Band Members: The writing team of guitarists Ken Beal and Art Stockwell create the bulk of Stratus Blue's repertoire.
Influences: The forces in play which stimulate creation of Stratus Blue music are too varied to mention. There is no music which did not play a part. However, it is possible that politics and world events are equally influential in the process. Stratus Blue is a collaboration so each member is influenced differently. The primary influences are different for each member and are even conflictory.
Sounds Like: Stratus Blue attempts to sound like Stratus Blue. Hence, this category of description is naturally threatening to our Philosophy. Stratus Blue sounds like good music. Stratus Blue pursues EVERY ear, no matter what that ear's personal inclinations may be.
