AuraSF was formed in 2002 as a grassroots organization to advocate for the rights of the dancing public to dance freely. As legislation such as the RAVE Act was proposed to harm promoters of all parties, we felt that it was not right and in turn, organized the Save the Rave Rally in September 2002. We organize parties and promote the dance scene not only in San Francisco but also worldwide. The Dance Culture scene is a very important part of many of our lives.
