I'm about to be 32 yrs old. I grew up in Wheaton, IL, born in Flushing, NY. Just got married on Oct 1, '05 to my incomparable wife, Dara. I'm an artist. I paint paintings in oils and murals in peoples' homes in acrylics. I am currently back in school at Herron Art School in Indianapolis to become a high school art teacher. Like Whitney, I too believe that children are our future. I sing and play acoustic guitar in a band called "Mr. Take it Easy" My dad-in-law, Doug, plays upright bass(also sings), my buddies Marc(also sings) and Sean play sax and drums/percusion respectively. We play lots of great songs from Johnny Cash and the Temptations to Tom Waits and Van Morrison. It's a total blast!! I also practice a method of meditation called Surat Shabd Yoga. It focuses on learning to transcend body consciousness through meditation and have our souls enter the inner spiritual realms. My teacher's name is Rajinder Singh and he heads an organization called "Science of Spirituality" (www.sos.org) The organization is dedicated to Love, Peace and Unity through meditation and service.
