About Me

Jake formed the Tractor Kings as a two piece in 1998. In the year 2007...after two albums and many, many lineup changes the group has finally finished mixing its third album in the summer . The new record (being called "homesick") was recorded and mixed on two-inch tape at Great Western Studios in the little town of Tolono Illinois - right next to the railroad. With Josh's recent move to chicago to go to culinary school and the return of Marty the band hasn't lost any of its psych-country steam, playing gigs and starting bar tabs. Tricksterism still being abundant and morale at a high...the group hopes to have its new record out by january, hopefully doing some touring in february. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
