Happy Tom has been playing music since the early 1980â€™s. His interest in music, was influenced by both members of his family and major recording artists
After a short span of playing local clubs in various bands around the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts in the 90â€™s, he decided to write and record his own original music. He currently resides in South Carolina.
Happy Tomâ€™s music drifts from acoustic genre to electronica. He plays the following instruments, both in his vocal and instrumental songs:Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Synthesizers, Electric Fretless Bass Guitar, Soprano Ukulele, Baritone Ukulele, and Mandolin.

Band Members: Just me doing solo stuff. For the idle curious, about my songs posted above right, in the media player..

"Leaving" I wrote before my move down to South Carolina. Kind of a "no other choice" decision.. and I think the song shows and sounds to that point.

"Zoe's Song" - I made with my Epiphone Acoustic / Electric Guitar and my Mandolin.

"Back to 1985", My daughter Zoe was batting away at the keyboard (she's only 1yr old.) and she played what is pretty much the bass line for this song.. I just added some 80's analog drum parts and synths.

"The Wicked Woods", is a Experimental type song that I used a synth "ring modulator" for the... umm.. "off" parts ;-)

Influences: The Cars, The Cure, Led Zeppelin

Bands and Solo artists from the 70's and 80's.

I also like solo artists like James Taylor, Ani Difranco, Jack Johnson

I'm also into Instrumental music, either Acoustic or Electric.
