Crazed Outlook

Life itself is contradictory and confused.

About Me

Crazed Outlook is a power pop band with great songs, infectious hooks and smart lyrics. The concept of the upcoming album Double Talk was to make one big, deliberate contradiction. Romance vs. apathy, Rebellion vs. conformity, Obscurity vs. capitalism, etc. This vision was achieved with a cohesive, yet dichotomy-driven, body of work. "Breakup Songs Are Boring" is really a breakup song, or at least one in the making. "Society Says" chronicles the suppressive nature of middle-class yuppyism, whereas "Peer Pressure" makes a case for getting ahead in a materialistic world. Romance, rebellion, anti-yuppy values, the struggle for acceptance, and let's not forget LOVE, or at least how society defines it.Crazed Outlook went into the studio late January to begin recording the Double Talk album. Produced by Derek Euston of The Underwater, Crazed Outlook dodged the sophomore jinx on its second album by leaps and bounds. The lineup of musicians includes founding member Matt Hresko on vocals/guitars, Jason Iarossi (Lotus Blue, Reno Fontaine) on drums, Dan Lucas (Breaking Benjamin, Bridges In A Bottle, The Masquerade) on bass, and a cameo from Jonathan Frazier playing keyboards on "Breakup Songs Are Boring", as well as additional guitars by Derek Euston. Recorded and mixed at The Green Room Studio in Harrisburg, PA, Crazed Outlook's Double Talk is one of the best indie rock albums of 2007.Created with mySpace Profile Editor
