What a strange journey this has been..I'am twenty five years old and I've been playing guitar for about six years,I don't think I can play but some people say I'am pretty good.I'am also the lead singer of a band called Brite Darkness. On October tenth 2004 David "Denny" Baskett my cousin,my brother and my chief took his own life.He was an awesome dude with a killer singing voice and a badass guitar player,you never really know why people do that shit and I guess everything happens for a reason.Back then I was a madman,sometimes I still am. I would drink and drug like there was no tomorrow and I'am surprised that there still is.Now I have a beautiful daughter and a lovely wife.Still crave the old ways from time to time but I'am content.My best friend and forever drinking partner is Doug "Sloth" Rutan who is also my step brother.I feel like I've lived a thousand lifetimes.I know I've almost died at least twice but I know to take everything one day at a time.I have learned that no matter how dark things become there is always light.I still party from time to time but I know when to stop.Of course I still play and love music,it has helped me so much in life.This journey has been amazing but I know its not over.Now I look towards the future and wonder where else it will take me
