Sylvie Thompson

hello, inspiration. we meet again.

About Me

Passionate about music from an early age, Sylvia has surrounded her life with it. Whether it be performing, writing or teaching, she loves it all. She bought her first keyboard at the age of 8 and taught herself how to play all the while driving her parents absolutely crazy. She first picked up a guitar eight years ago and hasn't been able to put it down since. Sylvia just finished up her bachelors degree in music with a concentration in vocal performance. Her ultimate goal is to be a songwriter. She is very passionate about her songwriting and pulls her inspiration from personal experience. "You can only write what you know." Sylvia has had the experience of performing with some wonderful talents and enjoys getting to know musicians of all walks of life. Keep posted for the release of her first demo, "Flutterby", in 2008.
