Borne out of a need for breakbeat in Glasgow, co-promoters (and DJs) Paul & Russell started the Rogue Audio parties late 2004 with guest DJs such as Lee Coombs and Meat Katie as well as putting together their own odd free party. Such was the success of the nights the duo simply kept the moniker going
Since those heady nights the duo have racked up a number of guest appearances and can, in a short space of time, lay claim to have shared the bill with the likes of James Holden, Lee Burridge, MYNC Project, Arnaud Rebotini (Blackstrobe), Petter, DJ Hyper and, of course, said Mr Coombs and Meat Katie.
Their colourful mix of tech-house and breakbeat recently won over fellow Glaswegian promoters Mekanik so much that they invited them back as residents. The monthly slot will see them warm up for some of the finest names in minimal house music with names such as Roman Flugel, Savas Pascalidis and Misc. already confirmed in the coming months. So, despite being relative newcomers, the Rogue Audio boys arent doing too badly...
