IMPALED EXISTENCE

The scars of insanity will beckon forever.

About Me

Spawned from the devilish streets of North Wales, Impaled Existence strives to bludgeon the ear drums of those who dare to come forth and witness the brutality. With their brutal guitar riffs, earth trembling low end, blast beats from hell and ear piercing vocals, an encounter with Impaled Existence will leave you breathless.

2004 Impaled Existence:
Michael Dykins – Guitar/Lead Vocals
Michael Plumb – Guitar
Ross Wilkins – Bass/Backing Vocals
Geraint Blunden – Drums
Founded in 2004 by Geraint Blunden, Michael Dykins, Michael Plumb and Ross Wilkins. Impaled Existence started life as a crossover punk band regularly covering songs by Metallica, Trivium, Iron Maiden and Pantera, aswell as playing their own material. Songs like “March to War” and “Fields of Warfare” were definite crowd pleasers. Gigging the North Wales pubs and clubs Impaled Existence were on the path to stardom until guitarist Michael Plumb decided to leave.

2007 Impaled Existence:
Adam Omari – Lead Vocals
Michael Dykins – Guitar/Backing Vocals
Craig Phillips – Guitar
Ross Wilkins – Bass
Geraint Blunden – Drums
After the departure of Guitarist Michael Plumb Impaled Existence were in need of a replacement fast. Through sheer luck a replacement was found in Craig Phillips. Impaled Existence began playing gigs soon after still playing crossover punk and thrash metal covers. With his Death Metal guitar mentality Craig Phillips began to write faster and more complex songs involving a lot more dedication, from the band, to achieve. After weeks of chopping and changing riffs a song was finally complete. Upon the realisation that these new trickier songs would be very difficult to play on guitar and sing as well, a decision was made to recruit a singer. Lady luck shone down on Impaled Existence once more and within a few weeks Adam Omari, mastermind behind Project: Everlast and Infiltrate Infinity, was found. The new song named “Bad Blood” by Mr Omari now had lyrics and was the heaviest song Impaled Existence had to date. A new heavier sound was born and from that day on Impaled Existence would unleash its brutality onto the local scene and beyond.

In recent news Impaled Existence have recorded a three track E.P titled “Our Colony’s Fate”, recorded at Endless Studios, Birmingham, and mixed by Mr Jez Clark.

With the departure of Geraint Blunden and Ross Wilkins the new line up is as follows:
2008 Impaled Existence:
Adam Omari – Lead Vocals
Daniel Hughes – Vocals
Michael Dykins – Guitar
Craig Phillips – Guitar
Dan Cross – Bass
Nathan Richards– Drums
With the new line up comes a new found enthusiasm which will project Impaled Existence into a new era of song writing and performance.
