Put a Bad Beat on CancerI'm a 4th generation Texas gambler(is there any other kind?) living, winning and losing in Sin City. My grandfather won over $52,000 dollars shooting dice and playing poker on the ship home from France after WWII. My Dad was a professional gambler and drag boat racer for decades in Texas and the Southwest. Gambling and thrill seeking are a family tradition, its in our blood.

Currently, I spend most of my time running my consulting firm, playing live poker and on the side I help some very promising poker players. (check out my girl Nikki in my friends section, she has done really well).Ive had my share of success, some WSOP cashes a couple of WSOP circuit event final table appearances and numerous Vegas tournament wins.
I'll be updating my blog and sharing some stories (hopefully successful ones) from the Las Vegas tournament circuit. I consider myself very lucky to live in Las Vegas and play with some of the best players in the world. I am very fortunate to be at the right place at the right time. Wish me luck.

Background notes: I grew up on a working cattle ranch in Texas, rode bulls for fun and money, went to state in H.S. debate(insert master debater joke here), gambled and booked my way through college, played football from the ages of 6 thru 20(I walked on at Texas Tech, picture "Rudy" with a bad attitude and a not so happy ending.) and backpacked across Europe and North Africa for two years. Ive also owned and operated my own business for the past 10 years.
