About Me
The Blues Awareness Project is not a band....it's an idea....A COLLECTIVE. It's you, it's me....and most importantly....it's the MUSIC. And in this case, the glue holding it all together is THE BLUES....the root of it all. This project is a platform to help salvage the blues....to help keep it alive....to spread its word, its blue notes, its soul....to aid in its evolution, transformation and its reverence. If you're a blues, soul or funk band (pro, amateur, bedroom rockstar), or any genre of band, for that matter....if you're a blues listener, lover, collector, critic, historian, musicologist, etc....JOIN the project. It's all about the music....it's all about you....keep on listening, keep on sharing, keep on keepin it on!!!!!!! Use the comment section to advertise your / others' gigs, to discuss music.
