I'd like to hang out, but I'm TOO HIP! I gotta go!

About Me

I am just a guy who's really busy and pretty much by myself most of the time. I tend to work a lot but when I relax, I do that to the max too! I don't wait around for others a lot now when I want to do something. I love to travel and see the world! Hence all of the photos. The last couple of years I have only traveled around the states the most. I have been to Canada and Mexico, but I'm trying to visit all of the 50 states in the US. The most recent trips that I've been on are to New Mexico, Amarillo, TX, Denver & Colorado Springs in Colorado, Vancouver, BC (Canada), Seattle, WA, Las Vegas, NV (twice!), Utah, Houston, TX, North Carolina, and San Deigo, CA. I had lived in Tucson, Arizona for almost 3 years till May 2007. I am now back in Los Angeles at my old job for United Airlines. My travel exploits will become even better now that I have my flight bene's back!!! I see my self on a beach in Kona, Hawaii real soon!! LOL!! I bought my first new house last summer! It was built by D.R. Horton and it is close to the airport in Tucson, Arizona. I'm now a landlord after I moved back to Los Angeles for my old job.Take the quiz:

I'd like to meet:

The love of my life! The one who will be with me for the rest of my life, no matter what happens. As for anyone else on this Earth, I always love meeting new people! Sadly for me, a lot of my friends have come and gone over the years. Let's just say that most of the time most of my friendships have been fleeting for various reasons. Good friends are very hard to find. I do have a couple of good friends that have been there through everything. Not to be negative, but most people usually have their own agendas, things that they need to do, and sometimes you fit in with the big plan, and sometimes you don't.

Music:

I have many interests in my life and my taste in music is a prime example of that. The music that drives me is and always has been ROCK & ROLL, but the more blues based stuff than any others. I love all kinds though really, but mainly just your classic line up of a singer, guitar, bass, drums with some keyboards (or piano) thrown in on occasion.I grew up listening to Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and many others from that time. I got into all kinds of stuff in the 70's too! Like The Who, Eric Clapton, Steve Miller, ELO, Boston, Queen, Styx, Kansas, Elton John, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Kiss, Ted Nugent, 38 Special, Alice Cooper, Lynyrd Skynyrd and others from then. The 80's started with stuff like Hall & Oats, Journey, Sammy Hagar, Toto, Heart, April Wine, Loverboy, Rick Springfield, John Cougar, Genesis, The Police, Rush and oh, Van Halen!I got into metal after that! Everything from Def Leppard to Metallica. Fell in love with that fast guitar work, banging bass, booming drums, plus all of the screaming and howling at the top of your lungs by the singers. Top bands for me from those days were Judas Priest, AC-DC, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Scorpions, Ratt, Motley Crue, Megadeth, Extreme, Dokken, Cinderella, Skid Row, Queensryche, Guns and Roses, Winger, Living Colour, Y&T, Damn Yankees, among others. Then you have the grungy 90's with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Faith No More, and stuff like that, but I also got into stuff like STP, Garbage, Varuca Salt, Bush, Marilyn Manson, No Doubt, Pantera, White Zombie, Gravity Kills, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Foo Fighters, Type O Negative, Creed, Green Day, Stabbing Westward, Lenny Kravitz and a bunch more!Since the turn of the century I've gotten into stuff like Linkin Park, Puddle of Mudd, Nickelback, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Chevelle, A Perfect Circle, Audioslave, Incubus, Saliva, 3 Doors down, System of a Down, Velvet Revolver, Seether, and most recently bands like F5, Buckcherry, Institute and Trapt. As you can tell, I'm all over the map of Rock and Roll. I have thousands of CD's and I've also literally been to thousands of concerts all over the world also! Regular radio is now boring to me with all the stuff that gets over played, all the talking and commercials, so I got a XM radio and now I don't deal with all of the crap going on with the local stations anymore. Also, I'm a frustrated guitar player as well. One day I'll learn how to play the damn thing!

Movies:

My taste in movies is really diverse as well, but a good story will always be what I am attracted to the most. I'm like any guy who likes a good action movie and if it's got a good car chase or it's about racing, that do it for me too! I'm a big Sci-Fi kinda guy and I like comedies, dramas, westerns, martial arts, and even family movies too! I like movies with trilogies or a series to them, like the story doesn't end with just one movie! A list would start with Star Wars, James Bond, Highlander, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Pink Panther, Batman, Superman, Spiderman and the Chronicles of Narnia. Actually I have quite a few DVD's too, so I'm never without entertainment.

Television:

I'm into stuff like CSI (all of them!), Smallville, 24, NCIS, The Unit, Ghost Whisperer, Greys Anatomy, My name is Earl, Scrubs (taped in the actual hospital I was born in!), and 2 1/2 Men at the moment. Over the years though, I've been into stuff like Miami Vice, Magnum, Starsky & Hutch, Quantum Leap, Beverly Hills 90210, Highlander, Melrose Place, Dallas, Hunter, Dukes of Hazard, Silk Stockings, Rockford Files, The Sentinel, Simon & Simon, JAG, Riptide (Filmed in my home town), Stargate, Renegade, and many other shows. My tastes are the same as my movie interest's. It just has to be good!

Books:

I tend to read the most just the aircraft manuals at work, otherwise I read stuff on line, magazines or newspapers.

Heroes:

My heroes have almost always been sports related. Growing up in LA, I would go to games watching the Dodgers, Angels, Rams, Lakers, Kings and even the Raiders when they were in LA too. I followed motorcycle racing for quite a few years as well. Some of my heroes names from those sports and others are Steve Garvey, Bob Hannah, Jim Everett, Tim Salmon, Jack Youngblood, Nigel Mansell, and even Evel Knievel. I love car racing also. NASCAR has been a part of my life since I was a kid. I followed Richard Petty, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Earnhardt, and now Dale Jr. When Dale Earnhardt was killed on the track, I was devastated! He was my hero for many years, to say the least. Just like I said before, hero's come and go.How quickly we forget!N591UA - Sept 11th, 2001 - FLT UA93N612UA - Sept 11th, 2001 - FLT UA175
