Long days and nights on the bad side of town, skating was his only way to survive. Many times He skated to the rescue of friends, discovering a talent for keeping opponents off balance while on the wheels.One night He ran across a bunch of women on skates arguing over who was the toughest and fastest. He skated up to break up the fight. Seeing what looked like team names on their helmets He asked about them. The answer He heard had his mind running at double speed. Warning the ladies He would be around, He skated off with an evil chuckle.Thus it began, the sweet, kind gentleman (oh who are we kidding, His number is 668 - He's not just the Neighbor of the Beast, He's the Master of it) became part of the Hurricane Alley Roller Derby Family, finding too much enjoyment in breaking up fights and keeping the ladies in check. Enforcing the rules was never so much fun. So ladies, beware the referee Poppa Wheelie. Don't let those innocent looks fool you, He didn't get that backside by sitting on the side lines.
