About Me


Mission Statement:
Blazin’ Banditas Rollerderby is a non-profit all-women’s flat track roller derby travel team based in San Antonio, Texas. Our organization is committed to bringing awareness to women’s competitive sports as well as giving back to the community through community service projects. We are also committed to maintaining a democratic structure in which each team member is respected and has a voice.
History:
Members of Blazin' Banditas Rollerderby are former members of the Violations of the Alamo City Rollergirls. The Violations ended their first season with the league as the highest ranking team with a 5-1 record. We left the league after the first season due to disagreements regarding its organizational structure. We have since reinvented ourselves as an unaffiliated travel team in order to learn from other leagues/teams. We are as committed to maintaining a democratic structure as we are to playing the sport of roller derby. We skate hard, play hard and are ready to blaze it up!
