missymayd.etsy.comAbout me... I'm a proud mom to a really cool 8 year old! I have been married for 3 years to my first true love, who I dated for 13 years! I used to own a vintage shop and still can't stop my obsession with collecting vintage clothing and other crap...and will soon be crowded out of my house by all of this junk. I am in the process of rehabilitating/renovating our 1920's bungalow. Oh, yeah....and I'm the VP and a founding member of the Alamo City Craft Union! Check us out.I enjoy: sewing, vintage clothes, deconstructing and then reconstructing, using a glue gun, glitter, cigar boxes, estate sales, thrift stores, reading, bike riding, gardening, meditating while plastering a wall, making lists, checking things off my lists, seam rippers, obsessively collecting interesting fabrics and vintage patterns, creating things out of junk, organizing records alphabetically, the smell of skunk...and looking into other peoples houses.

My Interests

This year's DIY Factory was a great success with over 550 guests in attendance! If you didn't make it by this year - bookmark our webpage and mark your calendars for next year!
be The DIY Factory's friend ! Bike riding (the punk ramble/critical mass way!), sewing, creating, working on our house, building a stronger community, supporting locally owned businesses, organizing, having fun, and being a great mom.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interested in activism, politics, supporting locally owned businesses, and supporting the local music and arts scenes. Artists, crafters, and those like-minded. I can't possibly be alone on this vastly overpopulated planet???

Music:
