Playing in the snow, chasing my siblings around the garden, walking in the dingle alone, going to school with a haircut I hated, the stingray model my dad made me, tripping up in front of emily, singing in the school play, making diagrams of time machines, why are those people so tall?
When I was younger, I was always trying to do something to make my neurotic tendencies less of an issue; i'd put my mind off it by day dreaming up crazy plans and inventions, and all I thought I needed was a really, really big Duracell battery and some cardboard boxes to make it happen.
The songs that I write now, are supposed to be reassuring.
