I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

God, I hate writing bios. I never know what to say, especially when the general things can be summed up so nicely by what I enjoy in life. I am my favorite music; I am my favorite movies; I am my interests. All that is left are the small details such as my appearance and my stats. What do I look like? Turn your eyes a little to the left and a little up. Congratulations! You found me! I'm no Angelina Jolie, but I do clean up well enough. As for my stats, this lovely site has provided an entire category that you may graciously observe at the bottom left side. For everything else, well, why don't you just get to know me? I may be quiet and shy, but I don't bite, unless that's your kink (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Actually, there is something else - my motto: "Our destiny changes with our thought; we shall become what we wish to become, do what we wish to do, when our habitual thought corresponds with our desire." - Orison S. Marden

My Interests

Drawing, reading, writing, cooking, singing, dancing, bellydancing, traveling, meditating, interior decorating, clothes designing, knitting, beading/jewelry making, counted-cross stitch, Africa, Asia, Ireland, Russia, tribal cultures, mythology, masks, soft blankets, indie comics, anime, manga, Japanese food, Middle Eastern food, plants, horses, wolves, foxes, ravens, big cats, dogs, forests, mountains, the Medieval Period, the Art Nuveau Period, the Pre-Raphaelites, Celtic stuff, stained glass windows, old churches, storms, fresh snow, autumn, bells, wind chimes, candles, incense, magic tricks, puzzles, opera, the Phantom of the Opera, journals, museums, the moon, Gnosticism, useless but interesting facts, wandering in the cold of night, any physical activity that requires self-awareness such as yoga, pilates, martial arts, etc., history, Renaissance festivals, Jhonen Vasquez, piano, photography, sharpshooting, angels, ghosts, the paranormal, vampires, werewolves, goth culture, gargoyles, corsets, graveyards, divination, weirding people out, listening in on people's conversations, people-watching, poi, hula-hooping, stranger-than-fiction stories, oddities, sideshows, the performing arts, Fire Fabulon

I'd like to meet:

AS A FRIEND: Someone whom I feel will accept me with open arms and say, "Honey, come here." Someone whom I can easily converse with because they say all the right things, and I trust them with my inner thoughts and feelings. Someone whom I can consider family.
AS A LOVER: Someone who can introduce me to new skills and hobbies. Someone who is open so that I can introduce HIM to new skills and hobbies. Someone who emanates an aura of "I'm interesting. You know you want to get to know me." Someone who is mature but has never forgotten his inner child. Someone who can understand that I'm very independent and need a lot of alone time. Someone who is not afraid to give me some gruff as well as compliments (especially when the gruff comes in the form of sarcasm). Most importantly, someone who is very intelligent, but not necessarily in a book-smart way. He should be able to synthesize his vast array of knowledge into something creative so that he can open my eyes to a new perspective on life.
