About Me

Formed in June 1995 from various bands namely; Long Tall Jerome (guitars, shouts) of Depth Charger, Greaser Bunny (vocals, guitars) of False Prophets, Nine Lives Romel (skins) of Good For Nothing. Ian "The Silent One" joined the band shortly as the bassist. On the same year, they released a single, "Psycho Season" under Middle Finger Records' "What Do You Want For Christnas?". Ian left the band in 1997 to pursue his job.Pretty Boy Tochi guitarist of Whorelocke fame, (DIN, Pedro's Cannabis, DIN, MoFu) filled in as the bassist. Due to band conflicts, he left in October 1999.Vic The Slapper (guitarist of Good For Nothing) joined in May 2000 as soon as he bought the upright bass. After countless gigs from Tondo Sports Complex to Music Museum, they recorded a 5-track EP entitled "Attack of the Killer Camotes" in March 2001. It yielded the title track, "Attack Of The Killer Camotes", "Makes Me Cool", "24 Hours (Rock and Roll Blues)", "Kick, Bang, Slam" and "Camote Chunks Theme".Vic The Slapper eventually left the band in May 2001 due to drug-related problems. With zero knowledge in upright bass, Rock n' Roll Pol entered July of the same year. He picked up the doghouse rudiments as fast as he bought it.They recorded the Rock n' Roll Pol penned single, "Nanggigigil" in March 2002.2002 was the last year for Nine Lives Romel, he has to devote full time to his family.August that year, Daddy Ram (drummer of Depth Charger) played the skins for them. The band eventually became regulars at Cafe Rio, Malate during weekends.October 2002, the band was featured in NU107's In The Raw music videos. Soon countless URGE Magazine concerts followed.2004, www.camotechunks.org was born. They recorded the single, "Miniskirt" in July 2005 as part of the compilation album entitled, "8 Track", a collaboration of Back To The Edge bands in Mayrics.
