His father showed him about studio life at the age of 8 and had him recording at 9 at Funky Features Studios SF in the mid 70's. Artist such as Stevie Wonder, Micheal Jackson, Parliment, Zapp and Roger, The Gap Band, SOS Band, and so many earlier groups also played a big role in the development of a young Noctavius. Also influenced by Bay Area Artist such as E-40 and The Click, Mac Dre(RIP), Too Short, San Quinn, JT The Biggah Figgah, and many many more for how they showed N.Cali how to hustle up this music without a major lable screwing and diggin in your pockets.
