I am a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), and a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS). I moonlight as a studio musician and back-up singer, and divide my time jamming, gigging and offering insight to several local groups. My band and I play regularly in the Chicago area.******************************************************S ome other bits of information: I was raised in a home filled with music. I am one of 6 children and the only one that plays an instrument or sings. My late step-Dad loved music and knew many country artists such as Merle Haggard and Buck Owens. He even co-wrote a song with Buck. My step-Dad was a huge influence on me. I signed my first record contract at the age of 17 with Kiderian Records, a Chicago based record label. I also played in several Chicago area bands, including Witness, a Christian band from the mid 80’s.************************************************* ***** Debe’s studio buddies--as she affectionately refers to as ’her Drones’--are featured on her CD "Crazy". That talent consists of Bobby "One Take" Mielcarski on drums and backup vocals, Rob "Birdman" Matz on bass, Rich Matz on lead guitar, Jack Mazzenga on lead and rhythm guitars, mandolin and banjo. The newest member of the band is Andreanna Moravec who plays the meanest electric violin. She will be featured on the new CD.*******************************************************De be’s debut CD "Not The Way I Planned" is a wonderful collection of acoustic pop-rock ballads. With smooth vocals, tight harmonies and haunting melodies, her songs will play through your head repeatedly. Debe’s second CD "Crazy" was released in June 2002. It’s a vibrant and upbeat album with more rock tunes mixed in among poignant ballads. An unplugged acoustic CD and a new studio CD are due out in 2008.
