About Me

FOR LESSONS INFO: Go to Lessons page at www.markzeus.com............... I've been making music down here in Houston TX for quite a while, although I grew up and had a long career in Chicago. About the Music: I like to blend many styles and tend to address social, psychological and current issues in my lyrics. Exploration of the human condition is often an objective as well. Within the body of my material you'll find: angry protest songs; ghost stories; nonsensical rantings and comedy; love ballads; unrequited love songs; rock and roll epics; environmental songs; history lessons and a whole lot more.......................... Go to my website at www.markzeus.com to check out an extensive bio, listen to mp3s, read some thoughts, and basically find out more. There is a link there to www.mytexasmusic.com/markzeus where you can order CDs online. They're great folks with a mission of supporting Texas and independent music................................................. I perform solo, as a duet, or full band (currently reorganizing) mostly in Southeast TX, but get around a bit. You can also catch me in the Chicago area 2 or 3 times a year. Join the mailing list at my website and I'll keep you posted on gigs and stuff.
