E-The-Hot (pronounced somewhere between IDIOT and HE THE WHAT? - just "E" for friends) is a wicked music producer from Italy. Mainly recording for the Mantra Vibes family and criming with A&R peeDoo , but down with many all around the world, "E" has produced, co-produced, re-edited mixed and remixed several tunes over the years under his own name and and with/for several other friends & acts earthwide (not that wide) with a few good shots and some definately less known stuff, promoting his own sampladelicate vision of electronic music on the down-dub-side-of things, and just establishing himself as a complete... E-The-Hot. Currently in Amsterdam.
"Although relatively new to the scene E-the-Hot has co-produced tracks for Santos, Alex Dolby and a number of others in the past. Off the back of his co-productions E-the-Hot started producing tracks for Mantra and remixed the likes of Infusion, Cagedbaby, Nine Inch Nails, Humanoid and many underground new acts under a wild variety of monikers."

What a cracker! This one just fell out of the box this morning, E-The-Hot brings this fantastic three track Balearic reggae EP on Mantra Vibes. First up "Ragmash" is based around a funky little guitar loop, which is chopped out and edited and then drops into a languid reggae swing for a bit, genius. "45 This" is a sludgier reggae affair with dubbed percussion and an nice spacey synth line, which occasionally cuts back to a phased disco loop. Lastly that man Bjorn Torske turns in a mammoth mix of "45 This" turning it into an underwater space funk disco odyssey, yay." PICCADILLYRECORDS.COM
