Italian producer Enzo Canale is one of the rising names of the new european electronic generation. He has already been labelled an 'eclectic', with his music crossing big room house, 80's inspired electro as well as disco/french house.
Enzo started playing with sounds with an old CasioTone and his father’s Commodore128 synthesizer program, amazed by 80s soundtracks and listening to reel-to-reel tapes, disco and rock music.
He studied classic guitar; during the 90s, he was a teenager gigging around in a britrock band – Oasis/Blur/Supergrass (Mary!) infamous sound. When the band split he thought that there was no more time for dreams, but one day the radio played something new, and he was catched: it was the Daft Punk phenomenon.
So the cycle started again: besides top grades in his engineering studies, he started composing music, with a bunch of softwares and synthesizers. Some months later the dj activity kicked off.
Now Enzo Canale is a record maker and a mixing engineer during the week, and dj in the weekend. With a feeling for the melody, he played fierce performances in venues both home and overseas (AA club Corfou, Octopussy Barcelona, Miami WMC...).
His agenda keeps him busy, but despite club activities he loves to return where it all began, namely in the studio.
Enzo is shaping his sound, from the first “french touch†imprint to something new, setting up collaborations with recording artists from around the globe. With only few years on the scene, he is doing what he always set out to do, delivering quality music at 126bpm. These coming months seem to get very exciting...so stay tuned and expect a hell of a lot from this rising man.
