Growing up in San Francisco, we listened to Santana, Malo, War, El Chicano, Azteca, Journey, and many other latin style bands. Brothers Ron and Alfonso Portillo started playing music together in the early 80's in our living room for our mom Patricia. As friends dropped by to jam with us, we gradually became a band.As the music started to develop, friends, co-workers and others started to ask for CDs, which pushed us into formalizing what we were doing.We love our hometown, San Francisco, and play our music from the heart, with a passion reminiscent to early San Francisco Latin Rock bands such as Malo and Santana. Our music is all original compositions developed by Ron and Alfonso, and the percussionists add that sound that makes it San Francisco Latin Rock.
