About Me

Azteca: La Piedra Del Sol - Coming Soon!

Azteca was a band formed in 1972 made up of some of the best musicians the music world had to offer. Started by musicians coming straight out of Santana, they began assembling a group that at times consisted of 25 members, effectively playing a variety of genres such as jazz, soul, rock, & funk, with the Latin feel often underlying each tune. Azteca released two albums, their self-titled debut in 1972 & Pyramid Of The Moon in 1973.
