About Me

This Three-man outfit formed in early 2000 from the ashes of a duo called Shade 20, described by Jackie Hayden (Hot Press) as "having a natural ability to craft songs that bridge the gap between cred and commercial, with a heavy bias towards the American market"They are a band that have cut the ropes on anything anchoring them to what might be expected of "Irish Rock" Their sound aims towards an audience of worlwide capability with deep melodic songs like Ordinary & Lay Your Head Down and radio friendly songs like Come On, Monday Blues & Only Human. Commercial??? Maybe, Cool??? Very.Having tested their sound in some of Irelands best venues, the lads are ready to take on the world, so that their sound may be heard.After a series of showcase gigs at the MIDEM Festival in Cannes, France. The Lads have just Signed a Publishing Deal with New York Based Cherry Lane Music, which will hopefully lead onto the release of their Debut Album later on this year. A Combination of Rock Star Attitude and Major Musical talent makes the unique sound that is Ruffus
